It will explore the policies and strategies designed and implemented by institutions to promote the quality of teaching, the linkage between quality of teaching and learning outcomes and the impact of the national policies and initiatives aimed at improving the quality of teaching in higher education. Through workshops and interactive sessions it aims to highlight effective quality initiatives and mechanisms and at encouraging reflection on practices that may in turn help other institutions to improve the quality of their teaching and, in so doing, the quality of programmes and of the learning outcomes. The conference is intended for institutional leaders, faculty academic members and researchers, representatives of quality assurance agencies and bodies dealing with quality teaching as well as for students.
